Pair Networks (pair.com) is a long-established web hosting and domain services provider. Years in the hosting industry had earned Pair genuine domain authority — but its organic search footprint didn’t reflect that strength, leaning heavily on people who were already looking for the Pair brand by name.
When we started, Pair’s organic visibility was concentrated almost entirely on its own brand:

In April, we rewrote the title tags on 17 of Pair’s pillar pages. Because Pair already had strong domain authority in hosting, we could confidently target competitive, high-volume, non-branded keywords instead of brand terms users already knew. A few examples of the shift:
We applied the same thinking to meta descriptions — using the full character count and adding clear, benefit-led calls to action so unfamiliar searchers had a concrete reason to click.
One month after the update:
Together, these gains helped Pair save an estimated $10.3K per month in ad spend. We later applied the same content-first thinking for a financial services firm, turning overlooked video pages into organic search assets.
That work was part of a broader SEO program that increased Pair’s estimated organic traffic 50% and ranking keywords 25%.
